I Cave In…………….

I walk the trail,
leading to hills,
tossing around pebbles,
souvenirs of moments,
that hold my soul.

Up on the hills,
a black hole of nirvana,
soaks me in its embrace,
falling deep into its maze,
with peace in my heart

I cave in.

  2. I used to go caving a lot as a teen. We would find a hole and just crawl in to see where it went. It was pretty crazy in retrospect. This feels a bit like meditation on the life lived and accepting it for what it is.

  3. I LOVE this - sinking into the dark nirvana "with peace in my heart" - so beautiful, this surrender. So wise.

  7. I think if you sit there and just wait you will find within the darkness a reason to cave in..

  9. Yes!!! the title and that last line are so perfect. I agree about the meditation comment above, it does sound like that, something you could repeat over and over again cinching your place in the universe. Great writing!
